Where the Stitches Cross

Photo AlbumSep 5, '11 12:58 PM
for everyone
This album contains my WIP photos of projects that are designed for and available only through the Yahoo group, The Stitch Specialists, designs by Abi Gurden. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheStitchSpecialists/

The first design here will be Tree of Stitches, which encompasses 16 different kinds of needlework stitches, which I have chosen to do on 28ct opal lugana from Sugar Maple Fabrics, Mystic, and using Old Victorian Motto Shoppe flosses in Old Wine, Emerald, and Azure. Also included, delica beads in matching colors (leftover from MTM)

I can see how the bunny and owl would bug you.....I think I see frogging in your future if I know ANYTHING about you!!! Congrats on getting it done by your deadline!

Yes, I see what you mean. The bunny doesn't really look much like a bunny.

If you start Tuscany, I'll pull mine back out and keep you company. It's languishing on part 5.

Beautiful tree. I agree, frog the owl and the bunny. They should be a little darker :)

Beautiful! The bunny and the owl are a bit light but not horrible. Where did you get this pattern? I may just have to do it.
